Description
A course designed to acquaint the student with the elements of theatre and how they combine and interact to create the live theatre experience. Lecture and discussion will investigate the nature and art of theatre, while the viewing of video taped and live stage plays will furnish examples of the various dramatic genres, including tragedy, comedy and musical theatre. THE2000 is a writing credit course. Students must earn a minimum grade of C to meet the requirements of the Gordon Rule for writing. THE2000 meets the International/ Intercultural competency requirement.
