This course presents an integrated approach to the effective application of management activities involved in the sourcing and movement of manufacturing material and finished goods across the different stages of the value chain. This certificate track course focuses on what employees and managers must do to ensure an effective supply chain exists in their organization. Students will explore broad-based concepts of Supply Chain Management practices and learn about functions such as: warehousing, inventory, procurement, sourcing, demand planning, transportation, operations, and customer service. which are concepts covered more in-depth in other courses in the program.
