Description

A course primarily designed and organized for students of all ages to learn how to assess, create, and apply a personal weight/resistance training plan to improve their muscular strength, muscular endurance, and flexibility. Eight interrelated dimensions of Wellness will be discussed in conjunction with how_a personal weight/resistance training plan can help students work toward achieving optimal wellness. Students will learn how to assess and apply this information to their lives in order to contribute to the welfare of the community and environment with a specific emphasis on resistance training methods and techniques. PEM1131C meets the International/Intercultural competency requirement.
