This theoretical is designed for the advanced nursing student. This course will provide the knowledge necessary to function as an effective member of the healthcare team in the role of the graduate nurse at the Associate degree level. The focus is directed toward implementation of one's role as a nurse in ways that reflect integrity, responsibility, ethical, legal practices, and evolving identity as a nurse committed to evidence based best practices such as caring, advocacy, and safe quality care for a diverse group of patients within a family and community context including emergency preparedness.
