Description

An introductory course in macroeconomic principles covering basic economic problems and concepts. Topics discussed and analyzed include basic economic problems of unemployment, inflation, and economic growth, as well as fiscal and monetary policies. Students will recognize the role of households, businesses and governments in the market economy and in their own lives. ECO2013 is a writing credit course. Students must earn a minimum grade of C to meet the requirements of the Gordon Rule for writing. ECO2013 meets the International/Intercultural competency requirement.
