Description

This course is an overview of theories, concepts, and principles governing child development. The course spans from prenatal development to middle/ late childhood up to age 12. Topics include issues of heredity, physical, cognitive, and social- emotional processes of development. DEP2002 is a writing credit course. Students must earn a minimum grade of C to meet the requirements of the Gordon Rule for writing. DEP2002 meets the International/Intercultural competency requirement.
